Why Sponsor?

The Summit is the only State-wide cross-sector cooperative gathering in New York.  Sponsorship supports a grassroots network to build a more democratic economy for all.

Are sponsorships and donations tax deductible?

Yes, the Summit operates under the fiscal umbrella of the Alchemical Nursery Project, a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Sponsorship checks can be mailed to Alchemical Nursery Project, 717 Otisco Street, Syracuse, NY 13204. A W-9 form for the nonprofit is available here.

Who has supported the Summit in the past?

Many thanks to sponsors of previous events! Sponsors are listed for the 2024 Summit, as well as for the Summits we held a decade earlier at the 2013 and 2012 events.

Who attended the 2024 Summit in the past?

Over 100 people attended – cooperators, technical assistance providers and the co-op curious with overwhelmingly positive feedback. Speakers were from Ward Lumber, Cooperation
Buffalo, Cooperative Fund of the Northeast, the Democracy at Work Institute, Cooperative
Development Institute, Capital Bookkeeping Cooperative, Co-op Hudson Valley, Untangled
Resolutions, Columinate, the NYC Network of Worker Cooperatives, Good Work Institute, and
others, with food from worker-owned Gimme Coffee and the Syracuse Cooperative Market.
